Polemic
Polemic
I am an Independent- Left Wing Paleoconservative (ex GOP branch), Social Democrat (Podemos variant), Militant Moderate (i.e Liberal-Conservative Populist I am anti politics) and Post Conservative
I support republicanism and Bull Moose Progressivism
If our world or country ever ends up going 'backward' and is as conservative as it was in the 1950s or if the mid right wing or far right become as accepted, mainstreamed, influential and widespread as Liberalism currently is in our country, in that situation here is what I would do:
I would stop being a Independent (ex Republicans branch) Militant Moderate and Post Conservative and I would then be a politically syncretic mix (politically syncretic in the same way that the 2nd New Deal was politically syncretic) of being leftist ‘grifter’ (like Jimmy Dore), the type of LaRouchist that Dave Bautista/Bruce Springsteen/Chelsea Handler/Mark Hamill/Sasha Baron Cohen would be and a Liberal who would be as Liberal in that hypothetical future as I'd be if I had kept being a liberal after 2011 instead of turning militant moderate/Post conservative fused with Alt Fordism Lite and 1920s like Homeless Left (Homeless Left was between Social Democracy and Communism in the 1920s)
I'd only do this because I am a Post Conservative, Militant moderate who hates politics . Once Liberals got our world back to being liberal , I would go back to being as I am now
I support the Labour Party UK (Blue Labour/Friends of Israel/New Labour/Third Way/Third Way Social Democracy)

Politicians should not be into careerism and ambition
Ordinary people should have control of our political organizations
I am fine with political parties not having trade union power within them
Political parties should be structured like Podemos
I support individual reforms
On ethical issues, my views tend to be liberal, with socialist roots even the radical component. I respect politicians freedom of conscience
I respect and urge respect for diversity of society to produce harmony, understanding, cooperation, cohesion and national unity
My views on our political system, liberals-liberalism,partisanship and similar polemic things are echoed in the book Mediations of a Militant Moderate https://books.google.com/books?id=VMZHuyK5NTsC&lpg=PP1&pg=PA1#v=onepage&q&f=false
I am against government beaucracy
The Us should get rid of or limit lobbyists
This piece echos some of my political views in a wider scope
I believe that Elon Musk should take the advice from liberals on Twitter and apply it but still make Twitter at least slightly more than somewhat free and open at minimum
The fact that its only hard line LIBERAL and DEMOCRATS freaking out is proof that the real reason for blowback against Musk's free speech idea has more to do with political games than a true concern for Twitter causes 'damage' for people.
Twitter was a lot better in the earlier days, then over the last few years censorship wise. People aren't dumb, if they see 'misinformation' or 'disinformation' they can research it themselves at their local library or via search engines. People can always block people who annoy them. Are people such snowflakes they can't afford to have alternative views on Twitter? However harassment, bullying, hate speech that directly leads to crimes (and would be confirmed to have done so by moderate Republicans) should be bannable.
I agree that some Twitter accounts were either unfairly banned or said users should have been allowed back with their accounts restricted and censored (Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ted Nugent, Laura Loomer) but most bans are at least somewhat defensible I guess if you stretch it or spin it.
I fully support full anonymity on Twitter. Forcing Twitter users to prove their real identity or similar things like Elon Musk wants is in bad taste (at best) and will rightfully cause many Twitter users to flee. There is a proper way to go after fake accounts, but the way he wants to is off base.
Qanon is a myth and ficticious nonsense
bias
I try to be like a ‘Democrat version of Pat Buchanan’ but due to the way my mind and emotions work, my views tend to come out like they do throughout this blog which can be described by some as ‘Daniel Patrick Moynihanish’
I support these Anti-corporatocracy proposals : limits and disclosure requirements on political campaign contributions, registration of lobbyists, recording and publication of Congressional committee proceedings.
Politicians should not make decisions based on emotions but based on rational thinking. Politicians should also get work done and not stand around and be idle on political matters.
party positions/roles
I support federalism
I have cultural conservative tendencies along with social tolerance and economic populism
I am above average on civil liberties
I support developing and improving directly with autonomous citizen councils and municipal spaces
Our political parties should attend to the conciliation needs of each person who participates in our political parties that is based on the commitment of the political parties’ regulations and protocols to attend to those needs and also when appropriate in the exercise of his public function.
We should ensure free, voluntary and open participation in our political parties to all people of all backgrounds, share the defense of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the democratic method of citizen participation and direct. We should also honestly discuss and respect all opinions, an objective for which we’ll always attempt to promote dialogue and the search for consensus
Our political ideologies should be rooted in protocols of loyalty, respect, and understanding. This should management should have a necessary and fundamental that had a clear feminist focus
I am against both partisan extremes. If I sound partisan/too partisan on issues ,blame the polarizing politicians ,MSM, and political system itself for me having to be non partisan/too partisan on said issues. I , along with most Americans are victims of this polarizing/partisan political tug of war between the left and right for too long where me being a ‘militant moderate’ is getting harder by the day
I believe we need to ditch the left center right spectrum in politics since it causes too much division and is too simplistic to describe viewpoints
I believe that the government/state should stay out of enforcing moral changes in at least some to more than most situations.
Moral evolution can happen many times apart of the government/state and relations between people can emerge with freedom from the government/state. Most relationships in life should not be characterized as conflict as the left and right might have it. It's good to have mutual and humane respect for others as individuals. It's also good to do positive and unselfish things without having to grapple with the political ramifications of doing those positive things.
I am against Groupthink because Groupthink is one the most dangerous parts of the human psyche. We must fight against Groupthink whether its in politics, holidays, or corporate monopolies. From David French "With a striking empirical regularity, deliberation tends to move groups, and the individuals who compose them, toward a more extreme point in the direction indicated by their own predeliberation judgments. In plain English, this means that when like-minded people gather, their views get more extreme. Our arguments reinforce one another to such an extent that the entire group will sometimes become more extreme than the most extreme person at the start of the deliberation"
Mark Twain said it best "Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect"
I believe that the Democrat-Republican 1960s 'party switch' never happened. Republicans and Conservatives have always been the non racist, non antisemetic and inclusive political party (its what the Republican party was founded on in the 1850s), while Democrats and Liberals have always been the racist and antisemetic political party and political system hence why I am proud to be a Republican Conservative
The Republicans in the 1980s were a very good political party. Back then Republicans were seen as go getter yuppies and business people. On Family Ties for example, Alex, who was a typical 1980s Republican was a small-government, pro-capitalist libertarian at heart. Alex was hip and cool. The 1980s Republicans were a great party unlike the Republicans of today who while fairly good aren't great like back then. This article puts it better than I can http://web.archive.org/web/20191011195307/https://www.cracked.com/article_26594_the-classic-sitcom-that-looks-completely-insane-in-2019.html I like the 1980s Republican party so much,
The Republicans in the early to mid 1990s were still a very good party. Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince of Bel Air was a great Republican. He rightfully belived in Affirmative action and fair housing for his community and he was moderately conservative on other issues while rightfully having faith in institutions like the courts.
I am a recovering NeverTrumper empathazer (even though I was never a NeverTrumper). I was BernieorBust in 2016 for the same reasons that Jim Webb didn’t endorse Hillary Clinton.
I supported Donald Trump as President due to my respect for the office he held, and for R Reagan era Republican blind optimism.
In 2024, I am BernieorBust and if Donald Trump is elected again I will once again support him due to respect for his office, and that R Reagan era Republican blind optimism above (but this time without me empathizing with the NeverTrump movement). I will admit that I don't care for Donald Trump and I tell Republicans reading this to vote their concience in the 2024 election (even if that means not voting for Donald Trump).
The Stop the Steal (ie January 6th) protest wasn't really an insurrection (at least the protest outside of the Capitol wasn't an insurrection) it was from my perspective mostly Anarcho Pacifist protesters (I always try to see the good in people so I have powerful LSD laced rose colored glasses in my brain behind my eye sockets).
Calling the protest and protestors insurrection and insurrectionists is newspeak at worst and a unhelpful at best. A more than few or even more of the protesters who went into the Capitol were bad apple imperial scum who got unruly and a few of the protestors who didn't enter the Capitol were annoying Trump fanboys who overreacted and went a bit too too far , and going into the Capital wasn't the ideal way to get their point across (though they were let in or they thought they were let in if not ooopsy! my bad)
But as a whole, from my ignorant perspective the Stop the Steal protest was your typical Republican wah wah fest with at least some to somewhat many decent protesters (at least compared to Atilia the Hut’s raids, UK League of Fascists marches in the 1930s, Charles Manson’s family’s outings etc)
I would like to believe that at least some of the protesters who went into the Capitol weren't trying to stop the transfer of power and they weren't trying to attack anyone, though I could be very wrong- I wasn't there so take this with a gigantic grain of salt.
The Stop the Steal (ie January 6th protests) were officially legit political discourse by the RNC (and Mitt Romney’s niece) so I am forced to accept that against apparent logic since Mitt might put me on the roof of his car for not accepting his niece’s view of that day or attack me like Mitt did to hid gay classmate decades ago. You don’t want to get on Mitt Romney’s bad side
However, I strongly sympathize with people who have different views on this. I also believe that if they were going to target any politician, Mike Pence was going to be near the top of their hit list
If you think they were terrorists, read these, not that I agree but I feel its very interesting. Might be some good material for a conspiracy theory
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/nov/16/fbi-entrapment-fake-terror-plotshttps://theintercept.com/2015/02/26/fbi-manufacture-plots-terrorism-isis-grave-threats Maybe it is good they were set up if they were, knock sone sense into those MAGA fanboys to not annoy people at protests
As for the somewhat maybe more than rare , unruly bad apple protesters from the January 6th protest , I pray for those protesters to find or to grow in Christ and to channel whatever negative things there are about them into things that match the values of Ronald Reagan and the 1980s Republicans and to use those newly channeled things to help the Republican party grow. I echo what John Kasich said about how those very rare unruly bad apple protesters that they might be redeemable.

What the unruly bad apple protesters from January 6th did on January 6th 2021 was no better or worse than what ANTIFA and other people did at BLM protests in various cities across the US during the first half -most of the summer of 2020.
It's hard for me not to sympathize or even something between sympathize and empathize with the idea that red states should consider suceding from the US and forming their own conservative country since this would end political division in our country and it would shut those cons up
But I am against this idea as I believe we are One America and One People. But I am not rigid or bot like on my opposition to sucession. Keep in mind Californians wanted to secede from the US various times in the last 50 years as do those people in Seattle with their zone.
Bad apples
I am also a bit of a temperamental if not ideological conservative
Our political parties are part of a political caste and we must end this caste system
I am Anti Establishment. Heaven is not taken by consensus: it is taken by storm
Matthew Sheffield echoes some of my thoughts on the hard right
I am against ANTIFA.
Maxine Bernstein was wrong to doxx the father who said Let's Go Brandon to Joe Biden. After years of the media trashing Donald Trump, now all of a sudden they get trigged by a father telling Joe Biden 'Let's go Brandon'. Liberal hypocricy at its finest. There is nothing wrong with that father saying Let's go Brandon to Joe Biden.
I am against the Democrats censuring Krysten Sinema. Shame on those fascists for censuring them.
Nancy Pelosi's fears that Donald Trump would use nukes in 2021 was stupid, irrational ,ignorant and wrong. She is unhinged for saying that Trump would use nukes. But nukes are a threat to our country , so whatever
I am against the media using the word misinformation or disinformation to describe select non pandemic related conservative, republicanist or left of AOC political viewpoints and narratives. Labeling those viewpoints and narratives as 'misinformation' or ‘disinformation’ is misleading at best and NEWSPEAK (as George Orwell talked about in 1984) at worst. The libs use those words on non pandemic related issues to smear and delegit opposing views and we must fight against that. If anyone uses ‘misinformation’ or ‘disinformation’ it is the all over the political map corporatist MSM. Those words lose all their meaning in describing non pandemic related issues
